Book review - Kolayuthir Kalam

Last week end happened to read the novel - Kolayuthirkalam by Sujatha. Still he lives through his books. I suppose this novel came as a serial in DD channel long back.The plot of the novel is that Ganesh and Vasanth are getting a case related to property transfer to a girl who is gng to be major in a month. All her properties are guarded by her chittapa. Her parents are dead when she was 10 yrs around. So when ganesh went to that girl's place - i.e a village near vandaloor area. Some 5 kms from vandaloor area and he had mentioned that area as a pakka village. But nowadays its a hot property selling area in chennai outskirts.And in that clients place they would find some mystery like aavi , pey pisasu like that. Girl's chitappa wud tell that some ancestor aavi is coming on this girl. Where ganesh wont believe this gimmicks and he try to articulate the items on scientific basis. In that writer had said like they are gng to chk for holography and i was able to predict that he is gng to chk this particular trick with holography. Later hero was chking with a paper with some stripes then also I thought it might be like bar codes and its that.In the climax author wont tell like its a fraud by science or its actually related to aavi and all.The main thing is this novel was written in 1970's but i read it at 2010. some 40 years back itself sujatha had written abt computers, holography and encryption through bar codes. I hail sujatha. God! he had written the stories / articles to reveal the essence of science or physics to lay man (i.e ppl who are not so gr8 in engineering / science). Nowadays we are telling like engineering or science shud be in mother tongue so that we can understand. But he had started that by writing science related details. But he dint do mere translation for every science terms. But he tried to explain the essence of science in regional language.
