Book review - Kolayuthir Kalam

Last week end happened to read the novel - Kolayuthirkalam by Sujatha. Still he lives through his books. I suppose this novel came as a serial in DD channel long back.The plot of the novel is that Ganesh and Vasanth are getting a case related to property transfer to a girl who is gng to be major in a month. All her properties are guarded by her chittapa. Her parents are dead when she was 10 yrs around. So when ganesh went to that girl's place - i.e a village near vandaloor area. Some 5 kms from vandaloor area and he had mentioned that area as a pakka village. But nowadays its a hot property selling area in chennai outskirts.And in that clients place they would find some mystery like aavi , pey pisasu like that. Girl's chitappa wud tell that some ancestor aavi is coming on this girl. Where ganesh wont believe this gimmicks and he try to articulate the items on scientific basis. In that writer had said like they are gng to chk for holography and i was able to predict that he is gng to chk this particular trick with holography. Later hero was chking with a paper with some stripes then also I thought it might be like bar codes and its that.In the climax author wont tell like its a fraud by science or its actually related to aavi and all.The main thing is this novel was written in 1970's but i read it at 2010. some 40 years back itself sujatha had written abt computers, holography and encryption through bar codes. I hail sujatha. God! he had written the stories / articles to reveal the essence of science or physics to lay man (i.e ppl who are not so gr8 in engineering / science). Nowadays we are telling like engineering or science shud be in mother tongue so that we can understand. But he had started that by writing science related details. But he dint do mere translation for every science terms. But he tried to explain the essence of science in regional language.

Effects of Inception:

Yeah yesterday saw the movie "Inception". Am not that gr8 to write reviews abt this movie.For god sake had Subtitles in the movie which saved me :). That's really a gr8 idea to get into other ppl's mind and to plant something. God what a creativity.I was thinking like if I have some un-achieved wishes mean can I keep on live in my dreams like I got those wishes or its a kind of stupidity to do so. Will I loose my reality and my thinking started to wander.If I cud implant some ideas in other minds mean what ideas will I plant and to whom I will do. God !! My true color is getting revealed and am getting so cruel and I put a full stop for my thinking :).Yesterday night I was in so fear that I may get into dreams. And that dreams may be infinity like that. To my last night surprise I dint get into any dreams. If you get time means check for this movie. This is my 3rd or 4th english movie. And second movie in theater. First English movie to watch in theatre was Jurassic park @ school time. I always used to think like if I see an english movie means it wud also be like another lecture class for me as i need to follow the dialgoues and scenes with at-most keen. So I avoided english movie. So used to watch english movies in regional language in vijay TV , Sun TV. But this time with Inception I could understand the language pretty well. So who rarely watch english movies can also opt for this movie.

Lost Symbol - In progress

Had started with Lost Symbol - Dan Brown's latest Book. Usually I used to finish reading his book with in 2 or 2.5 days. But this time am having it for 3 weeks nearly. Reading curve decreased. But this novel seems to be ok as am in 30th chapter as of now. And another reason am not in bench :) if so I would have finished it early.
Coming to the plot Langdon is called by some anonymous person and he is in New York to search for some symbol. I had suspected 3 persons as the villain let me see whether my guess is correct or not . I suspect in this order 1. Peter Solomon 2. That man with tattoos 3. Peter's sister or her assistant. Let me see whether my instinct works or not. In all the Dan Brown's book I wud pick up Digital Fortress as I know something about Encryption and Decryption. I hail my BE - ECE degree for helping me to understand one novel at least. Other than this I never felt that am using the knowledge (?) I gained from the 48 subjects from BE in my career.

Book review - Valvum maranamum

Review:Last week read the book named "Valvum maranamum" about Prabakaran. Mostly in library I used to take novels with light subject. Whenever I take biographies or books abt some personalities means I will take even a week to touch the book as if like technical books :)This time I started reading this book and its really good. And it’s really gr8 to know abt the formation of a team / organization against a country and how strict they were how dedicated they were. 33 years he sustained against a country for his people. And at last I understood like to be a entrepreneur or to be a leader u need to have a dictatorship. That only make u to go ahead. Be it Hitler , Fidel Castro or Prabhakaran or name it any leader they do have.If you want to know about some histories of LTTE means this book would help you and its really interesting as like a novel.Aarthy.
